That's ok Howard I appreciate the input no matter what. If I don't like the answer - I shouldn't have asked the question. Your comments are perfectly valid and crucial to the completion of this project. Without everybody's thoughts, whatever they maybe, I would still be procrastinating and never get it done!

This boat was never a carefully considered venture, I wanted to try strip building and I already had the book, the designs looked appealing enough and the instructions comprehensive. I worked totally from the book including the lofting, just to prove I could I suppose. So to sell it on (if it doesn't work for me) would at least create the space to start again and build the 'perfect' boat - or as near as damn it. All options are still open, but now I feel I can crack on and complete it knowing that further decisions can be made at a later date.
