I agree John, the internet is perhaps the easiest and the hardest means of communication simultaneously.

Since we started the project early this year we have received in excess of 3000 messages. The past month as an example has averaged over six requests for help each day. They have been as diverse as giving guidance to a gentleman in Israel on sources of suitable plywood in his country, and a lengthy discussion on whether two paragraphs on our website should be reversed in their order.

When I read every message I have to remember firstly that many times English is not the authors primary language, and secondly that the written word is easily misinterpreted, and finally that predominantly everyone's intent is good at heart. When I started blogging, many moons ago, I had to develop a thick skin to deal with what at times seemed like harsh criticism, but in reality nearly every time the intent was simply to improve my content and understanding of subjects. Even after over a decade of blogging I still believe that most people are genuinely well meaning, some could just use help to express (kindly) the meaning they intend to articulate.

Cheers!
