How does a self rescue work on a Tom Yost, Sonnet 16? Does one use the traditional Paddle Float technique? I'm considering building one, but would like to hear a few more "on the water" experiences, especially with capsizing and self rescue. I was doing Paddle Float self rescue with my Sea Tour 15r yesterday, and noticed that it tended to go down a bit much in the stern for this technique. Though our instructor was very very impressed with the boat, it's hard chine edging turns were exceptional.
