Just wondering if the relative humidity was high when you worked on it. Moisture in the epoxy will cause it to look white. Try hitting it with light heat from a blow dryer or heat gun to see if the white disappears. If it does, it's moisture, if it doesn't, it might be residual glue as suggested.
