Thanks Howard. I made my inlaid swoops from 1/4 in and 3/8 in strips to get that flexibility. In this region the strips will be 18 in to 2 feet long with a taper at both ends and probably some degree of bevel due to the twist. The likelihood of getting all of that exactly to fit without making the pice too short, and creating gaps, seems low. Any other hints besides the heat gun?
