On my first stripper attempt I custom ordered full length WRC boards thinking they would be easier to use. I ended up with so many knots that the longest strip was maybe 10 foot and there were very few of them. Ended up selecting many more boards locally to finish that boat.

Much better off hand selecting the exact boards you want, most of us shop for wood all the time, even when not building a boat, if you can find nice cedar buy it and store it, there will always be another boat to build.
