There is something vaguely familiar about that boat. Can't quite put my finger on it. Very nice. Came in at a good weight too. I guess an OI is going to have to be in my future somewhere. Everyone who has one seems to love it.
Thanks,you have seen the product and amalgamation of some of this forum's beautiful work, including yours and it is familiar,but also different.A darker deck is a concern with our high uv hot sun,so impulsive rolling may become the norm.Visibility(for others)is not addressed too well so rollin my be compulsory to avoid that prop.I might consider transporting this one upside down to share out the sun damage a bit.
I got a great sense of security when I first sat on the water in (her).I did not get dumped on by the next wave and these omens have continued...The comparison with the Baidarkers ,I have,is very similar feel with more primary stability.(My Firestars have none or not much.)Also,my engine can rise ,for short periods,to bring on a speed that can overhaul the Firestar (as long as the other paddler doesn't know I am trying hard)but very little difference over a day's paddle.Still hard work.
