Hi,

I used the drill, fill, drill process, and it worked well. I just used scraps of cloth and thickened epoxy to construct the tubes. This technique leaves as much room as you want for rounding the hole edges, and since the "tube" is actually bonded to the hull over the entire structure, it is likely a bit stronger, although heavier than using a sleeve.
