Material: Composite kayak repair.

Someone brought to me a Perception Aquaterra Sea Lion S circa 1997. It was bashed around pretty badly during Hurricane Sandy and is need of repair. A old brochure for this boat says it is built with kevlar, carbon and spheretex. The outer coating may be gelcoat but I am uncertain about that. The boat has been stored out doors until recently. The interior can be reinforced with more kevlar but it is unclear to me whether to use polyester filler or epoxy then gelcoat on the exterior. Is this boat worth fixing?

Dan
