Hi Rod-

I'll do a quick look at a certain point and see what I can find. They're for a kayak for my 7-year-old, and they're going in a SOF. The SOF is not a whale boat, it's a historic reproduction (Macmillan: Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum) shrunk 15%. It's a real SOF, but there are a couple years to grow into it. The foot pegs need to be low-profile, short, and super easy to adjust for a 7-year-old. The kayak should be a paddleable boat for 5-6 years, and then a good rolling boat as long as she can squeeze into it (Maligiaq used to use his sister Jenna's kayak for the rolling competition until they changed the rules on freeboard.) I want the foot pegs to be a able to move with her as she grows, until I can take them out. They'll need to be easy to adjust because for now she'll need to slide up for rolling and back for paddling. I don't want to add any sources of frustration with her gear.

Let me know what you think about how these fit the criteria. I've looked at them mounted in other people's boats, but obviously I haven't seen as many sets as you have. (BTW- we share those ugly registration stickers on our kayaks... I liked the red and blue, but I have a green one on one of my kayaks, and it's UGLY.)
