I used some of the regular cedar boards, found a few with only a few small knots, and also bought some of the "clear cedar boards" they sell, which are a bit more expensive, but no knots, and nice tight grain. They were 3S, but didn't matter to me as I was milling beads and coves. Finished the deck, and cut the cockpit recess, so things are moving along.
