You don't have to do cut the stations for the cockpit during the station set up. Since I had a custom longer cockpit, I stripped the hull and deck, mark out the cockpit recess. This should define which stations to trim down. I remove the deck for a few minutes and then cut the stations down the a jig saw, and reinstalled the deck. FYI, I wasn't planning on using the stations again.
