OK. Not at all clear why you would remove strongback and leave forms, or what advantage that would give you. Also seems physically impossible since strongback runs through hole in each form and cannot slide out front or back due to upward sweep of the hull plus the keel strip. Also, if you can only access the central 3-4 forms (at most) throguh the cockpit) how can you successfully free the remainder of the hull from the forms?

If you strip and glass your hull, no matter whether you have an internal, or external strongback AND you are using hot glue to strip staplelessly, you no longer need a strongback. Trace both sides of your stations and stems inside the hull and knock out the forms. Tack your forms back in with minimal hot glue. Your hull is now the strongback for your deck.

It is easiest to remove a deck held to stations with hot glue when the stations in the hull have already been released from their hot glue bonds. It is very difficult to try to knock out the stations through the gap between the deck and hull if both the deck and hull are bonded to the stations with hot glue. I know, I used to do it this way. With and internal strongback forget-about-it! Remove the strongback.
