Sorry about the problem with the boat coming off, I bet that was a heat breaker.

Actually it was not not a heart-breaker but only because I was lucky enough to have a strong cross wind blow it into the ditch instead of it going into the windshield of a car that was immediately behind me. I felt so fortunate not to have killed someone that fixing the kayak was nothing.
