How would you say the strength of your batch compares to WRC? I have found it varies widely depending on growth conditions. I believe it needs a good seasonal change. The stuff I tried from the Deep South (cool- autocorrect capitalizes "Deep South"- must be programmed by a fellow southerner) was brittle.

Regretably, it will be a while before I can get back to you on this. I am currently finishing up the modified Great Auk. It will also most likely be nothing more than subjective impressions rather than actual measurements. All I know about paulownia is what I have gleaned from your (Malcolm's) posts, and this link to the "World Paulownia institute."

Thank you for contributing to this BB Malcolm, otherwise I would not have known about paulownia. As I am writing this, I am wondering if the Gougeon Brothers have conducted any Instron tests, or gathered other empirical measurements.
