Wow, not many open-minds on this Forum when it comes to tandems eh? I seldom hear anyone bad-mouthing Euro-paddles vs Greenland or Greenland style kayaks vs Baidarkas vs contempory. I don't notice builders bad-mouthing SOF's, vs S&G or strip builds. But mention the word tandem or double and the negativity is amazing. Face it folks tandems are the right boat for some people. If a couple of people think a double would suit them maybe they are right.
So Ben I can't compare the Guillemot Double to other tandems but I can say the Cape Ann Double is a great boat. Maybe some of these nay-sayers are afraid they will see the stern of your boat as you and your wife scream past them on the water (tandems are fast).
