John, Robert Morris says in his book that stringers should have a 2 dimensional curve, orange slice edge, from stem to stem/transom. Rather than a 3 dimensional curve. Recently I was placing stringers on a willow ribbed canoe and used Robert's idea and the stringers "looked" very fair. And I agree w/ Dave Gentry about the number and their placement. Will you be lashing these stringers to frames or gluing/screwing?
