Hi Nick,
I do shun power tools,although I have the choice.Milling strips is an exception.The quality of work is often,indistinguishable and it is the presence of hand made faults that become of value!
I make saw dust by hand,mostly,as a form of penance.I know most of you won't understand that.Delayed gratification, in modern times, has lost it's"mana".I could just go and buy one and paddle it the next day.
I,also, lose more weight which, it appears, is added to the boat.
