Btw, the best way to find your footrest position is mock up a cockpit for youself, doesn't have to be all that tricky, having you back against a wall while you're sitting on the floor with your legs in the position, splayed and feet sorta pointed (in most traditional SOF's this is the position, not a lot of deck height normally) measure where the foot rest beam needs to be with a tape measure to your toes.

Traditional SOF's are normally set up for one paddler anyone else paddling one has to fit in somehow .
