I couldn't be happier with the wet out on the deck of my Great Auk. I used Thayer craft 3.2 ounce cloth, and one fill coat has pretty much buried the weave. Is one fill coat enough then?

Also...

I've completed the glassing of the coaming, but went a bit too wide with the glass, I think. I scraped and sanded the ridge, but it's still visible after the fill coat. Can I do another fill coat just on the ridge to hide it better? And looking ahead, is that the method for the ridge on the outside seam?
