Ok, I'm letting self doubt creep in a little bit...

Hi Brad,
After my three boats,now, the weights have been: 27 kg, 23 kg and 18 kg. 6 oz,6 & 4 oz and 4 oz respectively. I have to admit overbuilding the first two for "peace of mind"
The third one is still overbuilt![nearest one last]

My favorite boat is the lightest one,only, because of that.I feel good ambling down to the water with it lightly perched on my shoulder!No issues with stiffness for that kayak,or with my with shoulder.I paddle the worst coastline imaginable for jagged rocks and booming surf beaches.I have pictures of the scars in my hulls, to prove it,but that is another story for another time.I do try and be careful but things go wrong,occasionally.
Cut to the chase and remember "Light weight is golden" as one mentor told me in "my beginning".If it snaps I happen to know that I will continue to take great pleasure in building another,even lighter one, if I can.
