Hi Tor,+1for all of the above,deck to hull marriage is the only part of building I don't like.There was a thread on this forum from a very ingenious builder who wrote he fastened glass tape to the inside of the hull with hot glue(just a small dot every foot or two to hold it in place) then let it sag to the inside of the hull so it's out of the way,when the deck and hull is strapped and masking taped to satisfaction the kayak is placed on it's side and it's a simple task to epoxy the inside with a roller(sounds real slick).An addendum to this is to cut an old credit card to the shape of the hull attach to a stick and use like a squeegee to bed the tape.I will definitely try this on my next kayak,in fact that is a very good excuse to build another kayak LOL Nick R.
