Thanks Ken,

As usual.....I didn't express myself clearly. I meant horizontally. I agree with you the tenon should be on the bottom but I felt the bottom middle would be allow for less twisting than bottom edge.

BTW ... when making the tenons I use a very fine toothed rasp (a hand stitched Bludan) to fine tune the fit. Ken Blanton

Great idea, I'll do my best to get them fitting properly.
