Looking back, I guess I did the eye-ball thing for the two I've done. If it helps, the pic shows the bow and how the stringers intersect it. If I can find the templates I'll do some more measuring. As far as handling characteristics depending on these shapes, I dodn't worry too much. I seem to tow it as much as it gets paddled.
