I use rollers to seal coat and wet out. Chip brushes for fill coats. Some brands of epoxy are thicker than others and this makes a huge diff in application and number of coats. Thinner brands require more coats. Just use the rightcombo of brush, roller and squeegee to get a smooth coat for yor brand of epoxy.
A heat gun is a great tool if you use it carefully.
