Hello everyone,

I usually go straight to the bookmark to get to this page and skip the intro page but today I went to kayakforum.com and saw that the intro says it's been around since 1997. Well I am pretty sure I have been posting here since close to if not since 1997. It's just a curiosity, but was wondering if with the new forum it tells anywhere how long I've been a member. I just went and created a profile because it seems the old one got deleted with the changeover of software so maybe there isn't any way to see how long I have been posting.

And as always, thanks to Nick for the site, and thanks to all of you for what I believe is the best online forum ever. I have learned a lot, gained a lot, and shared a lot... most of the sharing being what I learned from my failures! Anyone remember when I cut the tip of my thumb off? It grew back by the way- with help from a skin graft, but the plastic surgeon said he has never seen the quick (part under the fingernail) completely regenerate and a new nail regrow to the point that side by side you can't tell which thumbwas the injured one. I believe I am part lizzard.
