Malcolm: The Point Bennett does ride the waves pretty good and I spend a fair bit of time in them. I am currently paddling my Black Pearl now and it has such a low volume bow that it slices through the water rather than over. Pretty fast but VERY wet ride!!

When I chop the Point Bennett I will be lowering the foredeck a bit but not enough to make it too wet!!

I've attached a picture of the Point Bennett in "happier days"

I am going with a strip deck so that I can get the rounded shaped that I want.
