: Is it a bad idea to encourage epoxy fill coat to harden by putting
: boat outside?
: Boat is aboout 13 years old and this is a scuff up and touch up
: coat on the bottom of the boat only.
: RAKA epoxy with UV inhibitors. (Love this stuff)
: Outside temp 75-80F. Last coat dried 24 hrs indoors and is tack
: free.
: Will sunlight and warmer temperatures make it cure faster or is it
: more a matter of time?
: Last coat went on Tue AM and would like to use this boat for long
: weekend trip Fri, Sat, Sun.
: Thanks,

Hi Matthew

Sounds like your epoxy work is curing as it should so you don't seem to have anything to worry about. I would let it cure overnight and you will see some good results in the morning. Its the don't fix it if its not broken thing right now.
