Skin-on-Frame: Pigment in Corey's GOOP? *PIC*

The consensus on this forum seems to be that Corey's GOOP can't (or shouldn't) be tinted. I've just ordered a batch from him, though, and he suggested that I use the rare earth pigments to tint the GOOP instead of using the acid dyes on the skin -- something about the nylon he's using having some new coating (see my recent post on this).

So, I tried a test batch and couldn't get the pigment to mix evenly. There were tiny bits of it that were impossible to mix in. The result is small blotches on the resulting test skin (see photo).

Anyone else tried the rare earth pigments with GOOP (or Zar) and gotten them to mix evenly?

Thanks,

Eric
