I think I am about to make one not so pretty. I was wondering about the ominous warnings and I think I am about to know. This stuff is tender in hand and the ends fall off or unravel with the slightest stuff. I used a fabric cutting wheel on the correct mat and cut everything 4" wide then went back to cut length. Oh my God, it's not 4" wide any more, it's 3". Like an accordion I pushed the ends in and got it back to 4 and more.

Gonna be fun to the tenth power but I will get it on there and take my time as suggested. That carbon is nasty stuff with it's powder and ease to fray. Maybe the note about plenty of rubber gloves comes in handy here because a tacky glove could only complicate matters further, for me any way. The garage is a pleasant 100 degrees thanks to Ma Nature so hoping that will help with the wetout but it will make me stay at a steady pace.

I've read all the post, read my Ocean One stuff, read several blogs, and watched several videos. I think I will pop back over to Youtube for a last refresher before I begin. Any last words of wisdom here's your chance, gonna start around 7:30 and predicting a fun night.
