Fitted out with seat, foot braces, float bags and electric bilge pump my 15.5' SOF came out at 33 pounds. I'm a first time builder. Definitely used too much epoxy. A more experienced paddling colleague gets along in a 22 pound boat propelled by a 20 oz paulownia greenland paddle.
