: This is a new finding for me, quite by accident. Thought I would
: share it.

: I was spraying water on a strip to bend it by applying a heat gun
: to create super hot steam on the strip. Some moisture was still
: in the cove. I then applied Titebond III and placed the strip in
: place
: to tape in and staple on the station form and existing strip.
: the cove lips appeared a little swollen from the water/moisture.
: When dried, I noticed the seam was very tight, Tighter than when
: not wet. I thought the strip would dry and shrink back to its
: original
: shape and leave a very visable joint line but it did not. Most of
: the strip was so tight to the other, it appeared like 2 strips
: looked like one strip. I may have a hundred or so strips
: floating around the
: lake when I launch her BUT it will look good for a little while
: (:>)....

: Hope this works for you.

So... the moisture alone didn't do that, but after heating with a heatgun, it swelled the joint? Sounds good!
