The project was very unconventional, I used flannel wetted out with polyester resin and 10 oz cloth to compensate for the choice of materials. The boat is plenty rigid. My boy told me it must be blue with sparkles, and some red. I hit the mark and he is a very happy paddler. Now I just have to teach him how to do it.
