: Very nice. What's the story behind the name?

It's basically derived from Ike being Eisenhower's nickname. Even though I think he got the nickname from his last name, we Dwight's that have followed sometimes get it, too. I've actually never in called that IRL but it's happened enough online that I assumed 'Ikehiker' as my web name (I've done a lot of backpack trips over the years) but Ikeyak seemed more appropriate for the boat. So, it's basically Ike-Yak but I like Ik-E-Ak as the pronunciation better (and the II is because this is my second build).
