Hello Pete,

I've been mostly in St. Thomas as far as kayaking goes, but we took a little trip to christen the Ghia on St. John after a complete engine rebuild. She ran like a top! It's the quietest and smoothest engine I have built yet, but most of the time I build loud race motors. I was kinda happy to do a nice normal engine for a change but I did punch it out a little to 1679 for getting up all those hills. Left the carb a stock PICT34 for velocity on the low end.

There are some manta rays hanging out at Francis Bay with 7' wingspans. We went to try to catch a peek and they weren't there. I may take the kayak over and see if I can have an encounter. We were supposed to go to Concordia this weekend but unforseen circumstances caused us to cancel.
