: I think I am done with pumps.
: Using West Systems 107 and 105. I decided to put on a seal coat. I
: have not used the pumps for a while, so I dumped the first
: mixture just to be safe.
: Should have just stopped there.
: But no.............
: So I have put on a seal coat on my CLC kit which IS going to get
: finished some time.

: SO when will I know and how bad can it be?

: Is there some deadly grey area which will look ok then peel off the
: wood the first time something happens? Like when I finally do
: get out in some textured water. Who me worry!?!

: If I have to take it off, do I Just!!!!!!sand to the bare wood and
: next time measure by volume?
: Thanks for you accurate and gentle responses.

John-
Is there a problem with the epoxy not curing or are you just worrying?
If the epoxy sets up hard, your ratios are close enough. Bad ratio mixes will result in incomplete curing.
I've used WEST with pumps for 30 years or so, and I haven't had any problems.
If you have a couple of plastic syringes on hand, you can check the volume that each pump is delivering, to double-check.
Unless mixing a large batch, it would be tricky to use measuring cups with 5:1 WEST, IMO.
1:1 and 2:1 epoxies are a different story.

I do buy new pumps every few years, but it's not really necessary- you can clean the pumps if they get gummed up.
