I feel the same way about sailing. I kayak because I like the physical exertion, so kayak sailing's not for me, but I see more and more guys with them around here. If I bought one of those parachute/garbage bag things I think I'd throw it out rather than take the space to carry it home from the first paddle, but I see guys sailing into the wind on occasion with the Falcon Sails, so they do work pretty well. I've seen video of Roy Martin rolling his kayak with one flopping loose on deck, so the kayak functions pretty well as a kayak, even if for some reason it all came undone. I think it only takes one line to put it up, but I don't know. Sail rigging confuses me.
