: TiteBond III dries clear and takes longer to set, in other words
: great for the strips you have to fight, heat and bend. For the
: regular strips I've been using Gorilla wood glue, it also seems
: to dry clear and sets much faster. Neither clogs up sand paper
: and both are waterproof.

titebond III actually dries brown and sets up faster in my experience. Titebond II isn't clear, but it at least is fairly neutral, and takes about 30 minutes to set up. In actuality the glue you use is somewhat irrelevant. Good old elmers glue is fine to use too. It's best to seal the boat with epoxy prior to glassing, and this seal coat holds better than any other glue you might use. Bjorn Thomasson actually uses no glue at all, he simply staples to the forms and uses a seal coat over the whole boat, letting the epoxy seep into all the cracks. After it cures he pulls out the staples and glasses it. of course, he is painting his boats, not going bright.
