Heh, I think Gourmet is overselling it a bit though. :P

Homemade pasta is cheap, fast and dead simple to make, you should give it a try next time ;)

one egg per person, a bit of salt, add flour untill the dough is no longer sticky, then roll it out with a rolling pin (keep adding flour as long as it doesn't crumble), fold it and roll again a few times untill it's "silky smooth" (3-4 folds should do it), roll it out as thin as you can, cut it in thin strips (yay pizzacutter), put in a pot of boiling water for a minute or so (untill the water boils again pretty much).

Fry some prawns in garlic, add cream and some spices of your choice, bring it to boil, then pour over the pasta and mix.

Takes ~20 minutes to make 2-4 portions, and it's Delicious. :D
