The trip is an annual trip hosted by "Georgia River Network" and is known as "Paddle Georgia".

This 7 day paddling trip for 300 people in canoes and kayaks allows paddlers to experience a different Georgia river each year. Each night, participants are shuttled to campsites at local schools and other facilities where educational programs, games, entertainment and meals are provided. Gear is transported from campsite to campsite in a gear truck. Meals are catered for those that wish to purchase the meal plan.

I've done the trip each of the last four years. Each trip is about 100 miles in length paddled over 7 days. In the past 4 years, we paddled on the following rivers (often several on the same trip)....

Broad / Savannah
Flint
Coosawattee / Oostanaula / Coosa

The trips are family friendly and I highly recommend them. If you want to go, register early as the 300 slots fill up really fast...
