: Hi!
: For what it is worth.
: I too have an unheated shop. Only mine is one of those tent
: garages. To get it warm enough to work in I use a Heater Buddy
: propane heater. While the unit was orginally designed to use the
: little disposable propane tanks, I added a filter and adapter so
: I can use one of the larger 20 pound refillable tanks.
: But the propane heater does introduce quite a bit of H2O vapor.
: Which I understand can mess up the clear coating properties of
: curing epoxy. Plus the heater does not get the shop warm enough
: for epoxy to set up properly.
: Thus, my winter work is limitted that which I can do without using
: epoxy.

Hello John,
I pretty much know what you are experiencing with your tent garage. I had one of those Costco tents for my workshop for 10 years (replaced fabric 3x).
A stormy day with wind gusts 50mph knocked the tent on its side and my brand new Jet band saw down on its side. That is when I decided - no more
tents.

Re; introduction of water vapors is confusing me a little. The Mr. Hero propane heater is flaming visibly in the torpedo (tube)
with a blower behind it blowing at 300CFM. My thinking is that it will help reduce humidity in the shop. How is this contributing to water vapor?
Have you checked the humidity in your shop before and after?
Douglas
