: Yes,Thanks !We like to see the trouble before it kicks us,it helps
: manage self dissapointment. The lack of form beveling that seems
: to be practiced is now concerning me a little.Thinking of those
: staple legs in the gap ,pulling the strip out of fair.If you
: guys can get away with it I guess I can too. With this embeded in
: my brain, I can proceed with confidence...cheers from Paul NZ.

"C" clamps used always on the side of the form nearest the ends of the boat
are effective, without distorting the fair line of the strip.

A dab of hot glue at intervals on the strip and the other face of the form
can allow you to remove the clamps earlier and make quicker progress with
the next strip. Kept small, the bond these give can be easily broken when the
time comes to remove the boat half from the forms.

I also use hot glue to hold my WRC internal stems in place during stripping for
all the same reasons. I do free my hulls, (Built first) and re-tack them near the
cockpit, before turning over snd stripping the deck. When stripping is complete,
the hull is then easily removed from the forms first again.

If a strip fights back! a spot of hot melt glue to hold it onto the previous
strip can be useful, not to mention Gaffa or similar tape (I don't know what
choices you have on your side of the Pond.) to hold it to the previous strip.
Anything that works for you realy. You'll quickly discard the ideas that don't.

Les C.
