: Perhaps you should tell us where we can purchase peel ply for less
: than 2 rolls of Shop Towels. I always was under the impression
: that peel ply won't conform to a compound curve and that is just
: about all there is in stripper canoes and kayaks. The OP claimed
: he had absolutely no lint problem.

Anybody can claim anything. Does the phrase "clean coal" ring a bell? Everyone has different standards, and what is no lint problem for him could be a disaster for someone else. Fo his proof he posted a photo from several feet away, with the whole thing lit up with a reflection off from the weave of the glass. Everything will look perfect in that photo. If you want a quick test, wash your windows with shop towels on a roll and look for lint on the glass.

Actual lint-free cloths they make for things like ski waxing are quite expensive. http://www.artechski.com/swix-fiberlene-large-6709.aspx Unless you're using this stuff, you're absolutely generating lint, and in my experience, the stickier the stuff you're putting it on, the more lint you're going to generate.

If you're really sold on the process, just do a test first to make sure it meets your standards.
