I bought a neat propane space heater for my workshop, brings it up to temp in no time and hooks onto the barbie tank - gives it something to do in the Winter. It was sold by TSC but most HW stores should have something suitable and they are usually on sale around this time of year. I never leave it unattended though, and I have a propane alarm, as I have already burned my workshop once (due to wiring) and that was enough . . .
