Thanks Bryan! Build time for me on this project is hard to gauge. I was deployed for about a year in the middle of this project. I suspect it was in the ballpark of 200 hours.

As to what I was doing in this photo... So this was at the end of our time on the water. My wife paddled ahead to the shore and took photos as I was coming in. As I was coming in I was rotating the boat in a long S to get some different profiles of the boat. So what you see here is actually me edging slightly to the left as I was turning to the right. This wasn't actually a stroke. I was also getting used to the boat and doing a lot of exaggerated movement to get a feel for how it would respond.

I should note that while I've been kayaking for about ten years, I only started using a Greenland style paddle this Summer, so my form may not be up to snuff.
