: an even larger sail that he uses, as well.

: I've sailed it, and no outriggers are necessary at all - though
: that's a function of hull shape. IIRC, you have a recreational
: kayak design, too, which could likely be modified to sail
: without outriggers, too.

I too put a very basic sail on my chuckanut 15. It is totally stable enough for a significant sailing rig. I didn't bother with foils, and paddle steered, so it wasn't a great sailor for me but certainly proved the concept.
