LOL...well there's obvious downsides, cost is one. It's kinda handy for on the road research. The laptop works "if" you can find wi-fi, big if around here.

I tried the netbook idea, but it's never where I am, so not really handy. The smartphone will be with me all the time, more handy.

Land line only ever rings, I only use it for outgoing calls, never recieve calls on it, never told anyone the number :)
