I'm watching this thread too. I am thinking of the Casio G'zone Commando as a phone, it's actually waterproof by itself without a case. Still there are better phones out there, so a waterproof case would be nice too.

That said, I tend to leave the phone in the car, don't want the distraction on the yak.
