: Has anyone got any idea where to find plans or photos of racks to
: store multiple kayaks. We have one area of our beach with 35
: kayaks stored on the beach. We were thinking of maybe building
: racks that hold possibly twelve (12)or twenty four (24) kayaks
: each, and are open to all ideas. Thanks Will

Hi Will,
If the kayaks are all about the same size, A-frame type racks would work fine. Two A's about 10 feet high (with more horizontals) could carry up to 8 kayaks on the outsides and 4-5 between the two 'uprights'. Diagonals run on the outside of the A's, where the kayaks would sit on the horizontals, will keep it steady. Simple and fairly sturdy.
