Skin-on-Frame: sewing nylon

Well; I've got a clear vinyl, and a polyester skin boat under the belt so in my quest to try all types, the Nylon boat is now ready for some skin. I understand the nylon is relaxed when cold/wet so sewing in this state provides the best tension to avoid the skin relaxing and wrinkling during use. Here's my question.........It's summer time, so sewing while cold isn't really an option, but sewing while wet is. Do I immerse the entire fabric in cold water before sewing and then spray with a hose every 10 minutes or so while sewing to keep it cool and relaxed, or do I just give it a set of shades and a Mojito?......... No seriously; how often to I need to wet it and how wet do I need to get it for the best success during sewing?
